Drop-off and Pick-up policy

“Platform” word refers to the Localyft website and Mobile app both in all Localyft  support and help documents.

 

Shipping Policy

  • Seller has 4 business days to ship your product and mark order status as shipped in Localyft “Platform”.

  • We ask our seller to use at least Standard/Regular: 5-7 business days Delivery shipping.

  • Seller is required to add Tracking number and Shipping carrier to Mark Order as Shipped. Same information will be available to the Buyer to track order.

  • We will inform you via email and notifications on each stage of order status change.

What if Seller failed to Ship item ?

  • If the seller does not change order status to Shipped within 5 business days then your order will be cancelled automatically.  

  • Automatic refunds will be processed to Buyer on the same card used for Payment method . 

  • Localyft will process the deposit of your sale to your Bank account after 7 days of Product delivery complete. Refund and Dispute related policy applies to  your deposit amount.

  • It may take several days for payment to be seen on your Payment depending upon the bank and/or credit card company.

Please Note: We (at Localyft) shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver products or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to Products delivered if caused by any event or circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, adverse weather, pandemics, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, breakdown or systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

Drop-Off Policy:

Size & Weight Restrictions

  • Allowed maximum Size and Weight is mentioned with each Drop-off location.

  • Locations are allowed to Deny on holding your item(s) incase of exceeding Size or Weight than allowed maximum Weight

    Maximum allowed price of Drop-off Items

    • Maximum total price of $75 is allowed for drop-off and pick-up orders. We recommend meeting in person or select a shipping order to buy and sell products over $75.

    • If you select the Drop-off  option in the listing for Item above $75 then Localyft support will reject listing and ask to edit or create a new listing without Drop-off selected. 


    Where to Drop-off after sale confirmation ?

    • Customers will select one of the locations  from your selected location(s) list at order confirmation. 

    • You (Seller) will receive an Order confirmation and other status notifications and reminders via your Mobile app account and email.

    How much time do I have to Drop-off Item(s) ?

    • You (Seller) have 3 days of time after order received time to Drop-off item at Buyer selected location. The 3 days count starts after the Order is confirmed and in Pending Drop-off status.

    • If Seller fails to drop-off item in given time then order will be cancelled automatically and Buyer will receive full refund.

    • Continuous drop-off failure may result in temporary cancellation of your seller account but during that time, you will still be able to access other features of Localyft Mobile app.

    What If Buyer Do Not Pick-Up ?

    • Don’t worry → Your sale money is safe with Localyft

    • Buyer will have 3 days of time after the seller drops-off the product. 3 days count starts after the Order is ready for Pick-up.

    • If Buyer will fail to pick-up product in given time then we will mark order as Failed pickup and Seller will be paid full amount as per our Shipping & Drop-off Payout policy.
